These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Harbor iOS app ("Harbor," "the app," "we," "us"). By downloading, creating an account for, or using Harbor, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Harbor is a personal journaling, mood-tracking, and daily-verse app with a Christian foundation. It includes a free tier and an optional paid subscription that unlocks additional features.
You own everything you write in Harbor — journal entries, prayers, notes, and mood check-ins ("Your Content"). By using the app, you give us a limited license to store, process, and transmit Your Content solely as needed to provide the service to you — for example, saving it to sync across your devices, or sending an entry's text to our AI provider to generate a reflection you requested. We do not use Your Content to train AI models, sell it, or share it for advertising.
You agree not to:
Harbor — including any AI-generated reflections — is a personal tool for journaling and reflection. It is not a substitute for professional mental health care, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, nor for pastoral counseling from a qualified religious leader. If you're in crisis or having thoughts of harming yourself, please contact a licensed professional or a crisis line in your area immediately.
You can stop using Harbor and delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account, which permanently removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
Harbor is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will always be accurate or appropriate to your situation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Harbor and its developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above, and where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of Harbor after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
